Community Roots

Born and raised in Enfield, Maya attended Enfield Public Schools and graduated from the University of Connecticut with a BA in English. She lives in town with her child and remains deeply committed to ensuring Enfield is a place where every neighbor thrives.

Family Life & Values

Maya’s family is central to her mission. As a mother, daughter, sister, and community member, she understands firsthand the struggles families face and the strength it takes to overcome them. Her leadership is grounded in love, integrity, and service.

Hobbies & Interests

Outside of work, Maya enjoys community theatre and spending time with her friends-her chosen family. Maya enjoys day trips and traveling while celebrating her community’s culture through storytelling and community events.
